Ella Freire and Guy Gee
45 Park Lane, London, W1K 1PN
Par Avion transports you into a world of global connections, exploration and nostalgia.
Guy Gee’s stamp-inspired pieces, drawn from over 200 nations, reimagine these tiny mementoes as glimpses into far-off places with renewed meaning. Ella Freire’s works, inspired by travel tickets, evoke the elegance and excitement of travel in bygone eras. Each piece reflects the charm and allure of setting off to unknown destinations.
Together, Gee and Freire’s work is a tribute to exploration and the joy of staying connected. Inspired by curator Lily Ackerman’s cherished letters from her grandfather, marked with “Par Avion” during her university years, these works celebrate every journey, whether across oceans or across time, capturing the beauty of shared moments and timeless connections.
The exhibition is displayed throughout the lobby and bar of 45 Park Lane and is open daily.
The exhibition is free to visit, and no advance reservations are required.
